What is included?

The city is served by 60 bus lines, 9 metro and streetcar lines and 6 suburban train lines that will take you from the airport to your hotel, the beach, the Albufera de València Natural Park or other places of interest.
Tip: It is best to download the app from the city's provider EMT (EMT Valencia). This will give you all the latest information on departure times and means of transport at a glance.

From the airport to the city center
Getting from the Aeropuerto de Valencia (VLC) to the heart of Valencia is particularly convenient and efficient by public transport.
You will find the „Aeroport“ metro station directly in the terminal, from where you can take two lines to the city center.
With the Metrovalencia line 3 (red) or line 5 (green) you can reach important central stops such as Xàtiva or Colón in around 20 minutes. Trains usually run every 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the time of day and day of the week.
If you have the Valencia Tourist Card, the journey from the airport to the city center is already included - you don't need to buy an additional ticket or queue at ticket machines. Just make sure you've chosen the version of your card that includes mobility services.
Tip: When leaving the arrivals area, look out for the metro signs („Metro - Aeroport“) and take the elevator or escalator to the level with the train station.

Tips for use

Excursions outside Valencia
The Valencia Tourist Card is valid for journeys within fare zones A and B, i.e. within the city and to the airport. Journeys to more distant destinations or excursion destinations outside these zones are not included in the card.
Nevertheless, it is worth exploring the surrounding area:
Popular excursion destinations such as the Albufera Nature Park, the beaches of El Saler and El Perellonet or the town of Sagunto are easily accessible by public transport. You can buy regular bus or train tickets for these routes directly on site.
The Albufera Natural Park, for example, is only around 10 kilometers south of the city center - accessible via the EMT bus line 25. This trip is even covered by your Valencia Tourist Card. For a trip to Sagunto or Gandía, you can take the local train (Renfe Cercanías) from Estación del Norte.
Even if the Valencia Tourist Card does not apply outside the city limits, you benefit from optimal connections within Valencia: You can easily get to the starting points of your excursions and save money on all inner-city routes.
